You Can Now Get YouTube Music Now Playing Gradient Redesign on iPhone

Finally, YouTube Music redesigned playback screen with gradient comes to iOS app.

A new look is coming to the YouTube Music app for iPhone users! Such a change happened to Android devices when the update rolled out last December 2023. Now, iOS users are not left behind.

YouTube Music features a new background design for its Now Playing screen function. You can see a solid color with a gradient effect, which is lighter starting on top and gradually going darker as you look below. Plus, you can see the playback buttons standing out in the new color concept.

Unlike the previous interface where the Up Next, Lyrics and Related buttons are inside a lighter colored container, YouTube Music eliminates the container, creating a seamless approach to these functions. It also seems like they are floating in the background.

Enjoy the new gradient interface on YouTube Music’s Now Playing page when you update your YouTube Music for iPhone and iPad into version 7.01 and later. Android users experience the same feature on YouTube Music app version 6.29.57.
