Star is gone in the global scene of Disney Plus – and now, a new brand is taking its place. Hulu is taking the spotlight as the Disney+ International Entertainment brand, and the leading company is making huge adjustments for its subscribers.
Starting on October 8, the Hulu brand will be seen alongside Disney Plus while its full integration is still in process. As more of its presence becomes evident, new updates and innovative features will be launched for a more intuitive and enhanced streaming experience.

So, what are we looking at in the next few weeks and months on Disney+?
Let’s begin with the Homepage. The Hero carousel will showcase a video display where you can find the stories and characters that you fall in love with. You can also see features of the latest titles displayed in cinematic and more modern designs.
Navigating around the homepage becomes more intuitive with a new navigation bar at the top of the homepage. First, you will see the “For You” tab with updated algorithms for timely and accurate recommendations based on your preference. Next, there are new badging tags like New Movie, New Series and Season Finale for easier access and discovery.
Then, live sports, news and events are presented straight to your screen with the Live hub found in the main vertical navigation. Lastly, jump around ESPN, Hulu and Disney+ in seconds with tabs specifically designed for each catalog.
Plus, highlights to personalization as the streaming service powers up its personalized algorithm to give you better recommendations. Your profiles will become more prominent as well.
