Disney+ introduced new guidelines when it comes to account sharing last year. This restricts users from sharing their subscriptions outside of their household. The giant streaming service allows account sharing but is limited only to the main household, particularly those who are living in the same house.
According to Disney Plus, you can share your account details with people who are using the same location data, device ID and IP address. It is not difficult if you want your loved ones or friends in the same house using your account.

But, what about those who are outside of your premises? Disney+ now has a solution for you.
You can now share your Disney Plus account with those apart from your household by adding them as an Extra Member. But, it comes with a catch.
If you avail of the Extra Member on Disney+, you can only add up to 1 member. Your Extra Member needs to be 18 years old and living in the same country or region as you.
Plus, it does not come for free. You will need to pay $6.99 per month if you are subscribed to Disney Plus Basic or $9.99 per month for Disney Plus Premium.

It may not sound like a good deal but the cost itself is reasonable. The price of a Disney Plus Basic subscription is $9.99 per month while Disney Plus Premium is $15.99 per month. That’s still a few dollars cheaper than subscribing to a new plan.
Even if you add an Extra Member, your subscription can still add up to 7 profiles in the same household with up to 4 devices streaming simultaneously.
