More than just quality music streaming, Apple Music is bringing in more value to its users. The huge music streaming platform is partnering with Universal Music Group (UMG) in launching Sound Therapy, an audio wellness collection augmenting better health to listeners.
Sound Therapy centers on three categories – Sleep, Focus and Relax. Working alongside UMG’s Sollos initiative, a science-led venture for music wellness, Apple Music will introduce various playlists of songs and titles, reimagined with special sound waves, to help listeners stay focused, attain relaxation and have a better sleep.Â

Supporting wellness, the new innovation will harness the influence of music while backed up with science in aiming to improve health. Sound Therapy will only be available on Apple Music, specifically in its Apple Music Chill radio station.
In maintaining Focus, Sound Therapy integrates gamma auditory beats into the songs as well as white noise to assist in better concentration. The goal is to maximize cognitive focus. To help you stay relax, you can switch to the Relax category, where songs are blended with theta auditory beats for relaxation. Now to help you achieve optimal sleep, songs in the Sleep category are combined with delta auditory beats or pink noise.
