Using Apple AirPods 3 on your Apple TV device takes only a few steps. You can pair them ahead, so all you have to do the next time you want to stream privately on your Apple TV device is connect them. But, if you do not have the AirPods 3 yet, you can use the other AirPods model.
How to Connect and Use your Apple AirPods with Apple TV Streaming Device
To start, you will need to use your AirPods case to pair your Apple TV device. You will also use your iPhone or iPad.
- Launch the Settings menu on your Apple TV device.
- Navigate to Users and Accounts.
- Choose your current user. Now, make sure you use the same Apple ID on your AirPods and Apple TV to pair them successfully.
- Go to your iPhone or iPad.
- Launch the Settings menu.
- Select your Profile.
- Go to your Apple TV device.
- On the remote, look for the TV icon and hold it down.
- Choose Apple AirPlay on your Apple TV.
- Go to your Apple AirPods case.
- Open the case and place the AirPods inside.
- Go to your Apple TV device.
- Choose your AirPods from the menu. If you cannot find your AirPods, go to our AirPods case. Press and hold the button at the back until you see the while indicator light.
- Wait until the pairing is complete.
