How to Cancel your Showtime Streaming Subscription Account

There are various new movies that you can look forward to when streaming on SHOWTIME this November. You can check out and watch classic films like Kindergarten Cop, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, and Under the Volcano. There are thriller movies like The Hummingbird Project and Low Tide. If you want more recent titles to binge-watch with, you can stream Drunk Bus, The Humans, and Summer of 85.

SHOWTIME releases new titles every month to keep your content library collection packed and updated. But, if you do not like to continue with your SHOWTIME subscription plan, you can always cancel or close your account at any time.

How to Manage your Account or Cancel your SHOWTIME Streaming Service Subscription Plan

Many users cancel their SHOWTIME subscription for various reasons. You may not be satisfied with the service you got out of streaming on SHOWTIME, and it is no longer worth paying the extra cost of $10.99 per month. Or you want tounsubscribe and opt-out before your free trial expires to avoid getting charged.

For others, they have several streaming subscription plans already, so dropping one is a good option. In other cases, you want to explore other streaming services.

Whatever is your reason to cancel your SHOWTIME subscription plan, you can manage your account settings by following the steps below. You need to do it on the SHOWTIME website and not on the app.

  • Launch any web browser on your computer or mobile device.
  • Go to showtime.com.
  • Login to your streaming service account.
  • On the top right corner, click or tap your profile icon.
  • Select Your Account.
  • Look for the Cancel Your Subscription button and click or tap it.
  • Confirm your action.

Note that when canceling your subscription prior to the end of your current billing period does not qualify you for a refund on the remaining days. You can still access your SHOWTIME streaming account until the end of your current billing period.

SHOWTIME is also available on other streaming platforms as an add-on channel. You can subscribe to SHOWTIME via Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV devices, Android TV, Roku, Optimum Online, Xbox, PlayStation, LG smart TV, Samsung smart TV, Xfinity Flex, Oculus, and Sam’s Club membership.

If you subscribed to SHOWTIME through any of these devices and services, you will need to unsubscribe and cancel your subscription plan directly via their official website or on the device’s app store section.
