When you use VLC Media Player, the default language setting is on Auto. That means VLC will use the language that it can find on your operating system. If the language of your operating system is in English, it will automatically change to English even if the video language is different.

  • Launch your VLC Media Player.
  • Navigate to the Tools menu on Windows PC or access the VLC menu on a macOS device.
  • Select Preference.
  • On the top left corner, click the Interface icon.

  • Click the Save button.
  • Restart your VLC Media Player.
