Fix Sorry This Device Can’t be Removed Now Error on Netflix

It is easier to catch up with your favorite TV series on Netflix when you can download titles for offline viewing. Netflix allows its subscribers to download content and save them on devices of their choice. You can do it via the Netflix app on your mobile phones, tablets, select laptops, and PC.

But, Netflix also has a limit when it comes to downloading TV shows or movies on these devices. You can only download up to 100 titles for each account. Some of this content has varying limitations per time period and re-download options depending on the content creator. There is also a limit of one, two, or four devices per account to download offline titles based on the subscription plan you have.

If you exceed the limits set by Netflix, you will end up receiving an error. For some users, they see the error message, “Sorry, this device can’t be removed now”. While in some cases, you cannot download more titles on your account when you reach the limits, the issue shows that you have already reached the device limit for online deactivation.

Netflix enables you to manage the download devices on your account, which lets you remove devices that you no longer want to be connected with your subscription. The error above indicates that you can no longer remove the device due to reaching the maximum allowable times to do so.
