Heads up to all Peacock subscribers! A price hike on your subscription plans will happen soon as NBCUniversal along with its parent company, Comcast Corporation, is bringing its competitive edge into the market. With exclusive contents and the upcoming summer’s Olympic Games in Paris, Peacock is also elevating its standing in the line of streaming services.
A $2 increase will be expected on July 18, 2024 to all new subscribers. But, if you are an existing member, the new pricing will take effect on August 17, 2024.
New Peacock Streaming Subscription Prices Come July 2024, Right Before Paris Olympics Starts
One week prior to the Paris Summer Olympics, Peacock will automatically change its subscription prices to the following:
- Peacock Premium (ad-supported) plan – from $5.99/month to $7.99/month
- Peacock Premium Plus (ad-free) plan – from $11.99 /month to $13.99/month
- Peacock Annual Premium (ad-supported) plan – from $59.99/year to $79.99/year
- Peacock Annual Premium Plus (ad-free) plan – from $119.99 /month to $139.99/month
This is the second time Peacock raised its prices following the first increase last year. The streaming company removed its free membership for new users plus increased its tier by $1 for Premium and $2 for Premium Plus.
Still, Peacock remains to be among the streaming platforms offering a lower price tier compared to the big ones.
Wrapping Up!
Simultaneous to the price hike, NBCUniversal also puts into action more streaming opportunities for its subscribers. Watch the Summer Olympics in Paris starting from July 26, 2024. Peacock is also getting exclusive streaming to NFL games next season starting on September 6, 2024. Plus more movies to your heart’s content.
