How to Reset your Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick Remote
So, why reset your Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick remote control? If your remote control is not working or unresponsive, you need to perform a reset. You can also reset your remote if there are buttons that are not working. If you have a new remote to replace your old one, you can also reset it before you pair it to your streaming device.
Reset Amazon Fire TV Remote
- On your Amazon Fire TV remote, press and hold the Home button.
- Continue to hold the Home button while pressing the Menu button three times.
- Release your hold on the Home button.
- Press the Menu button nine times.
- Now, remove the batteries.
- Unplug your Fire TV Stick.
- After a few minutes, insert the batteries back into your remote.
- Plug your Fire TV Stick back into the power source.
