The year 2020 gave us a lot of challenges. But as it is almost ending, all we can do is look forward to a new year and a new hope. In 2021, Disney is lining up Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) TV shows and movies, that will give its avid fans something to be excited about in the months ahead. Disney showed teasers of some of its series and films during its Investor Day event.
One of the highlights during the upcoming show teasers is the Disney+ series Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Marvel geeks can also look forward to a new series called WandaVision as well as another series with Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
If you are expecting animation, Disney gives you Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and another series called What If…? Movies from Marvel Studios include Black Widow and Spiderman 3.
Release Dates of Marvel TV Shows and Movies Coming Out in 2021

Marvel Series
- WandaVision – starring Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bethany as Vision. The premiere date is set for January 15, 2021.
- The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are playing the title role in the series, which premieres on March 2021.
- Loki – Disney Plus releases a limited series starring Tom Hiddleston as Loki or the God of Mischief. The series will premiere in May 2021.
- Hawkeye – Fans will see the training of the new hawkeye in this new Marvel series by 2021.
- Ms. Marvel – Inhumans will be the focus of this series set later in 2021.
- She-Hulk – What if there is a girl hulk? Check it out in 2022.

Marvel Movies
- Black Widow – Scarlett Johansson plays the role of Natasha Romanova, a.k.a. the Black Widow. The movie was previously set to launch in 2020 but postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the film will be released on May 7, 2021.
- Spiderman 3 – If you cannot get enough of Tom Holland as Spiderman, you can look forward to it on December 17, 2021.
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – Doctor Strange is coming back on screen by March 25, 2022.
- Thor: Love and Thunder – Expect many surprises in this new Thor movie coming to you on May 6, 2022.
- Black Panther II – The film continues even with the tragic death of its main cast, Chadwick Boseman. It will be premiere on July 8, 2022.
- Deadpool 3 – Ryan Reynolds is coming back as the iconic Deadpool in its third movie, with the premiere date not set yet.
- Captain Marvel 2 – Captain Marvel will not be left behind. The new movie is set on-screen on November 11, 2022.
- Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – If you want to see Paul Rudd shrinking as the Ant-Man, there will be more of it later. Watch out for the announcement of its premiere date.
- Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 – It is volume 3 for these Guardians, but the premiere date is still unconfirmed.
- Blade – Mahershala Ali stars in this film but the released date is still unconfirmed.
Marvel Animations
- Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – from comics to screen, this animation film will be released on July 9, 2021.
- Eternals – another comic to screen movie, viewers can check it out on November 5, 2021.
- What If…? – an animation series based on the Marvel comics of the same title. It is said to premiere summer of 2021
