Apart from the Xfinity set-top boxes, the IMDb TV app is also compatible with iOS and Android mobile phones or tablets, Roku players, Android TV, Chromecast with Google TV, LG Smart TVs, Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S gaming consoles. Â
How to Download & Install the IMDb TV App on Comcast’s Xfinity Flex or Xfinity X1 Set-Top Box
You can add and watch IMDb TV on Comcast Xfinity Flex and Xfinity X1 just like any other apps on the platform. Use your Xfinity Voice Remote to navigate through the IMDb TV app and its content. To download and install the streaming app, follow these steps:
- On your Xfinity Voice Remote, press the Xfinity button.
- Go to Apps.
- Look for IMDb TV and highlight it.
- Press the OK button or the center of your directional pad.
- To navigate through the contents, use your directional pad and press OK to play a video.
- Alternatively, you can use your voice to open the IMDb TV app.
- Look for the Microphone button on your voice remote.Â
- Press and hold it while saying IMDb TV on your microphone at the top of your voice remote.Â
- Release the microphone button after speaking. It will direct you to IMDb TV.
