Xfinity Flex is opening its doors to a new streaming service. Discovery and Comcast are partnering in bringing more content to their users. Now, Comcast customers can watch Discovery Plus shows through your Xfinity Flex set-top TV boxes streaming device. That means thousands of episodes from Discovery+ networks will be available for your binge-watching experience.
Discovery Plus is one of the top streaming services that features more than 55,000 episodes of its shows from various networks. It is a go-to for reality TV streaming. You can watch old and current titles from HGTV, TLC, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Food Network, OWN, Animal Planet, Magnolia Network, and ID.
When you download and install the Discovery+ app on Xfinity Flex, you can subscribe to the streaming services for only $4.99 per month with ads and $6.99 per month without advertisements.

How to Download & Watch Discovery Plus TV Shows on Comcast Xfinity Flex & X1
The steps to get the Discovery Plus app on Xfinity Flex are the same when you download any other apps on the streaming media player. Follow the procedure below to know how to do it.
- Using your Voice Remote, press the Xfinity button.
- Click Apps.
- Now look for Discovery+ and select it.
- Click OK. You may also press the center of the directional pad of the Xfinity Voice Remote.
Xfinity Flex is a streaming platform that lets you watch 4K UHD (Ultra High Definition) videos. It is part of the Xfinity Internet package. To stream on Xfinity Flex, you will need to have the set-top TV box streaming device, the Xfinity Internet connection, and a smart TV with an HDMI port. You can add another Xfinity Flex device for $5 per month.
Xfinity will also launch another streaming tool called Xfinity X1 in the coming weeks. Discovery+ and other streaming services will also be available on Xfinity X1.
