Roku and Charter’s Spectrum TV had a dispute, which resulted in the Spectrum TV app’s pullout last December 2020. With the ongoing dispute between the two providers, new users cannot access and install the app on their Roku streaming players. However, all those who have already downloaded and installed the Spectrum TV app prior to December can still continue to stream and use the app.
But now, Spectrum TV and Roku have finally come up with a resolution that brought the Spectrum TV app back on the Roku Channel list. New users can download and install the app again and stream different cable shows and channels on the Spectrum TV streaming app.
How to Download and Install Spectrum TV App to Stream Shows on Roku Devices
You can add Spectrum TV on your Roku TV, streaming stick, or set-top box just like adding any Roku channel.
- First, go to the Roku home screen.
- Navigate to the Roku Channel Store.
- Using the Search option, enter Spectrum TV.
- Click to open the app page details.
- Install the Spectrum TV app.

You can either sign in using your Charter broadband credentials or sign up for a new account through Roku. After downloading the streaming app, launch it and sign in to your account. Select the “I Agree” button if prompted with the License Agreement.
