How to Filter, Disable & Block Explicit Songs on Apple Music

Listening to music can help ease up tension and make you feel good. Sadly, not all lyrics have positive and wholesome languages and themes that everyone can listen to at any time. Many songs have explicit and inappropriate subjects that a lot of users cannot bear to hear.

Apple Music is one of the top music streaming apps with millions of songs, playlists, and podcasts always available for your listening needs. There is a lot to choose from, including new titles and artists. For only $9.99 per month, you can access all the content and stream them on your device with support for offline listening. You can also get a standard 3-month free trial if you are new to the service.

Unfortunately, anyone can hear explicit songs on their Apple Music if uncensored, not filtered or disabled manually. If you are sharing your Apple Music account with your kids and other younger members of the family, it can be risky to expose your children to inappropriate songs.

What you can do is turn off or disable the Explicit content and only set the Clean songs to play on your Apple Music account. You can filter out and block these contents on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. But, you have to do it with respect to your device manually using our guide below.
