If you want to change your display name on Spotify through your desktop computer, you can use any browser to access the web app. It works on Windows 10 PC, Mac or Linux computer, and Chromebook.
- On any browser, go to https://open.spotify.com/.
- Look for your username in the upper right corner.
- Click the down arrow.
- Select Profile.
- Click your display name.
- Enter your new display name.
- Click Save.
Changing your Spotify Display Name Via iOS or Android Mobile Device
You may also edit your display name on the Spotify app on your iPhone or Android mobile devices.
- Launch the Spotify app.
- Tap the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Tap View Profile.
- Select Edit Profile.
- Enter your new display name.
- Tap Save.
How to Connect Facebook & Show your Profile Name on your Spotify Account
Now, you also have the option to display your Facebook name on your Spotify profile. First, you have to connect your Facebook account to your Spotify. Then, it will show your Facebook name.
- On your Spotify app, tap the Gear icon.
- Select Social.
- Scroll down and tap Connect to Facebook.
- Enter your Facebook login.
- Tap OK.
