In comes Topics – an AI-powered feature by Amazon Music to discover podcasts.
The new feature assists users to explore more podcasts in the music streaming platform and not limited only to what they usually know. Topics will bring in more podcast episodes based on the topics mentioned in the current episode you are streaming.
Amazon uses AI technology through Amazon Web Services (AWS) to analyze descriptions and transcripts in the podcast and create relevant key topics to suggest relevant content. Topics tags will be more related and specifically curated to your interests.
How to Use AI-Powered Topics Feature to Discover Podcasts on Amazon Music App
To enjoy the new feature, you will need to install the latest Amazon Music app version on your device. Next, launch your Amazon Music app and head over to the Home screen. Tap Podcasts and open a specific episode. Now, go to the bottom of the episode description and tap the Topics tag button. You will then find the list of related podcasts.
Topics is available in all subscription tiers of Amazon Music app on iOS and Android mobile devices.
