Restart Spotify App or Restart your Device
One of the first things you can do is exit the Spotify app and relaunch it. Try to evaluate if it continues to crash. If it does, you can close all running apps and turn off your mobile phone or PC. Wait for at least 3 minutes, then reboot your device.
Check for Problems with Spotify
Sometimes, the cause of the not loading issue is with Spotify’s server. You can check their social media status for updates regarding outages of their service. If there is a server problem with Spotify servers, you will have to wait for them to fix it.
Log Out and Log Back In on Spotify

Clear the Spotify App Cache
- On your Windows 10 or 11 PC, navigate to your C: Drive.
- Select Users.
- Choose your Administrator Name.
- Go to AppData.
- Click Local.
- Look for the Spotify folder and open it.
- Open the Data folder.
- Select all the files and delete them.
- For mobile devices, launch the Spotify app.
- Navigate to the Home tab.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Storage.
- Tap Delete Cache.
Uninstall and Reinstall the Spotify App
If you continue to experience the error, you can try to uninstall the Spotify app first on your device. Then, reinstall a new version.
- For Windows 10 or 11 PC, navigate to the Settings menu.
