It’s a sweet holiday season for long-time subscribers of YouTube TV! Your years of loyalty has paid off as Google announced a reward for their selected subscribers. Google is giving away free Chromecast with Google TV to subscribers of YouTube TV.
The new Chromecast with Google TV is not like the old version of the Chromecast device. Previous versions are only dongles that you can connect to your TV. The new ones come with dedicated remote control. Users will also enjoy the new addition, Google TV. What’s more, you can install apps like YouTube TV, Hulu, and Netflix. You can still cast streaming apps from your mobile or your computer.
Who Can Avail of the Free Chromecast with Google TV?
Unfortunately, Google will call the shots as to who will receive the free Chromecast. In other words, you just have to wait if you are one of the lucky people to get an email from them. Google is sending out emails to eligible subscribers of the Chromecast device. If you have received the message, you can claim it until December 31, 2020.
According to Google, those who have subscribed to YouTube TV since June 2018 are eligible to claim the free Chromecast with Google TV. Subscriptions must not have any history of pauses or cancellations.
Also, the offer is exclusive and must not be forwarded to anyone. To claim your gift, click the Claim your offer button on the email and enter your shipping details on the Google Store website.
It is not the first time that Google offered gifts to its users, both new and existing. Before the free Chromecast with Google TV deal, new users also received the same freebie last October. In some other times, several premium members enjoyed the surprise gift of Nest Speakers and Google Stadia subscriptions. The cost for Chromecast with Google TV streamer device is at $49.99.
