Missed having the lyrics on your Spotify app to sing along your favorite tunes? Now, you won’t be missing it any longer! Spotify is bringing back the lyrics feature to free tier subscribers – but, the restriction lifting comes with a condition.
Spotify has been one of the top music streaming apps people are using globally. While more users tune into Spotify, there are still more subscribers of the free tier compared to its Premium plan. Having unlimited access to expanded lyrics is one thing. Premium subscribers can also stream music ad-free and can download songs.
Now, free tier users will not be left behind when it comes to the lyrics feature. However, Spotify notes that there is still a limit as to their access to the lyrics, putting in a monthly cap. Still, the giant streaming service indicates that the restriction will be much higher and not easily reached with regular usage.
Prior to the changes, Spotify free tier users can enjoy the expanded lyrics up to three times per month only. After which, they are encouraged to switch to the Premium plan to avail of the unlimited access.
