Google Assistant will block inappropriate videos, news, or other information. In addition to filters, you can also restrict their access to various functions and apps. The Downtime feature will enable you to disable features that your kids should not use at the moment.
How to Set up Filters on Google Assistant Speakers
- Launch the Google Home app.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Notifications & Digital Wellbeing.
- Navigate to Digital Wellbeing.
- Choose the People to whom the filter will apply.
- Tap the device where you want to use the filter.
- You can then select the content where you want to add the filter.
Setting Up Downtime on Google Assistant Speakers
- Open the Google Home app.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Notifications & Digital Wellbeing.
- Choose Digital Wellbeing.
- Tap the Set up button.
- Tap Next.
- Choose the People to whom the downtime will apply.
- Select your device.
- Set the date when the downtime will apply.
