Discovery Plus offers only two subscription plan options for all of its users. First is the base Discovery+ plan called Ad-Lite at $4.99 per month. It gives you access to the platform’s extensive content library of movies and TV shows, but it comes with advertisements in between shows. If you don’t want to see any ads, you can choose the Ad-Free plan. The second subscription option costs $6.99 per month without ads.

Yes, you can change your Discovery Plus subscription plan at any time. You can switch between Ad-Free and Ad-Lite plans at your discretion on any device or streaming platform you are using.

How Update, Downgrade or Upgrade your Discovery Plus Subscription Plan

Change Discovery Plus Subscription Plan via iPad/iPhone

Go to the Settings menu under your Apple ID on iPhone or iPad. Look for Accounts and then tap Subscriptions. Look for the plan you are currently subscribed to and cancel it. Now, choose the plan you want.

Launch the Google Play Store on your Android mobile device. Tap the Hamburger button and select Subscriptions. Look for Discovery Plus and tap Cancel. Now, open the Discovery Plus app and then select the new plan that you want.

Change Discovery Plus Subscription Plan via Apple TV

Open the Settings menu of your Apple TV set-top-box. Go to Users & Accounts and click your Account. Choose Subscriptions, then, select Discovery Plus. Click Cancel Subscriptions. Now, open the Discovery Plus app and subscribe to the new streaming plan you want.

Open the Discovery Plus app on your Roku streaming device. Go to the Main Menu and select Account. Now, click either Change to discovery+ for $6.99 month (Ad-Free) or Change to discovery+ for $4.99 month (Ad-Lite).

Change Discovery Plus Subscription Plan via Android TV

On your browser, go to play.google.com. Go to the Main Menu and click My Subscriptions. Choose Cancel Subscription for Discovery+ and then Open the Discovery Plus app. Choose the plan you want upgrade or downgrade to.

Change Discovery Plus Subscription Plan via Fire TV or Fire Stick

Go to amazon.com and sign in to your account. Go to Account, click Memberships & Subscriptions and choose Manage Your Subscriptions. Now, disable the Auto-renewal. After that, launch the Discovery Plus app and select the new plan you want.
