How to Fix Safari Netflix Error S7702-1003, S7059-1411 or S7059-1414

Netflix is one of the household names when it comes to streaming classic movies and original TV series. You can find most homes having Netflix on their smart TVs and computers. But, Netflix is also prone to possible issues that may disrupt your streaming experience.

For instance, if you are using the macOS Safari browser on a Mac computer, an iPad, or iPhone iOS device to watch content on Netflix, you may encounter the error code S7702-1003, S7059-1411, or S7059-1414.

Netflix error code S7702-1003 will show the error message, “Pardon the interruption. We’re having trouble playing Netflix. Please make sure your browser isn’t in Private mode and try again.”

If you receive the Netflix error code S7059-1411, you will see the error message, “Please ensure your version of Safari is the latest available. Error Code: S7059 – 1411”

With the Netflix Error S7059-1414, users will see the error message, “Whoops, something went wrong… Netflix Video Player Unavailable.”

How to Troubleshoot & Fix Netflix Error Code S7702-1003, S7059-1411, or S7059-1414

Fortunately, there are several ways for you to resolve and fix the Netflix issues on a Safari browser on your macOS device. These three error codes represent a problem with your current browser configurations, or your browser needs an update.

You can try to follow each of the troubleshooting solutions below and check if it fixes the Netflix error S7702-1003, S7059-1411, and S7059-1414 or not.

Solution #1 – Disable the Private Browsing on your Apple Device

The Netflix error code S7702-1003 could mean that Netflix detects you are browsing through Safari browser in Private or Incognito Mode. You need to turn it off and use a new page on the regular browser window.

  • On your iPad, tap the New Page button.
    • Select Private.
    • Tap Done.
  • On your Mac computer, click Safari on the menu bar.
    • Go to Preferences.
    • Navigate to the General tab.
    • Look for Safari opens with.
    • Click A new window.
    • Now, restart your Safari browser.

Solution #2 – Clear your Safari Browser Cache

  • Click Safari from the menu bar.
  • Go to Preferences.
  • Navigate to the Privacy tab.
  • Go to Manage Website Data.
  • Click Remove All.
  • Select Remove Now.
  • Click Done.
  • If you are using Safari version 9 and earlier, click Safari from the menu bar and follow these steps:
  • Now, select Reset Safari.
  • Uncheck all options. Check the box next to Remove all website data.
  • Click the Reset button.

Solution #3 – Remove the IndexedDB files on your Safari Folder

To resolve the Netflix error S7059-1414, the first thing you need to do is to Exit your Safari browser. Then, you will need to delete the files on your Safari folder in the Library. Follow this method:

  • Click Safari from the menu bar.
  • Select Quit Safari.
  • Click the Finder icon. 
  • You will see the Go icon from the toolbar. Hold the Option key first, then click the Go icon. Do not release the Option key yet.
  • Click Library, then release the Option key. Alternatively, you can use the Shift key instead of the Option key if you cannot locate the Library.
  • Go to the Safari folder.
  • Click the Databases folder.
  • Choose ___IndexedDB.
  • Highlight all Netflix folders and drag them to the Trash.
  • Empty your Trash.
  • Now, relaunch Netflix.
