We cannot help but experience issues with streaming services like Netflix once in a while. There are possible scenarios when we see error codes blocking our video content playback on Netflix. While there are different reasons for various issues we see on Netflix, the error codes U7111-1101, M7111-1105, or M7111-1101 point out to server or network connectivity problems.

How to Troubleshoot Network Connectivity Error Code U7111-1101, M7111-1105, or M7111-1101 when Streaming Content on Netflix Website

If you are wondering how you can resolve the error codes U7111-1101, M7111-1105, or M7111-1101 on the Netflix website or app, there are several options you can do by yourself without having to call a technician or the customer service team to help you.

Power Cycle your Router and Streaming Device

It helps if you refresh your WiFi Internet connection through power cycling your network device at home. Perform the same method on your smart TV, mobile phone, or other streaming devices to rule out any device-specific connectivity issues.

  • Turn off your device and unplug it if applicable.
  • Unplug your router and modem as well.
  • Wait for a few minutes.
  • Plug all your devices back in and connect to the Internet.
  • Now, turn on your device and relaunch Netflix.

Try to Improve your WiFi Network Signal

Your router location may be the cause why your signal is weak. Try to move your router to an open and elevated space without any obstruction to get better reception. You can also eliminate wireless devices since these can interfere with your network signal.

Another way is to bypass your router and connect to your modem directly. Using an HDMI, connect your device to your modem and try to check your Internet speed. If it works better, it may be a problem with your router.

Turn Off VPN Server

If you are using a VPN server to stream content, you can disable it and try connecting to Netflix. You can also turn off other proxy servers if you are using them.

But, in cases where you needed to keep using a VPN, you can try some premium service providers as they tend to work well with Netflix. Sign up for an account on any of these providers to see for yourself.

Clear your Netflix Cookies

  • On your browser, go to netflix.com/clearcookies.
  • You will sign out of your account. Click Sign In and log in to your Netflix account.

Update your Device Software or Browser to the Latest Version

It helps to install the latest firmware or software version of your streaming device. Check if there are available updates and download them. If you are using Netflix on the web, download and install the most recent browser updates now. Restart your device and relaunch Netflix to verify if the issue is now resolved.
