How to Fix Roku Player or TV No Sound or Audio Not Working Issue

Check the Volume and Mute Settings

You may not be hearing any sound if your Roku device is set to Mute. Check if the Mute option is Off or On on your device remote control. You can also adjust the volume to see if the audio is coming out or not.

Restart your Roku Device

  • Turn off your Roku device and unplug everything from the power outlet. 
  • Wait for a few minutes before plugging them back in.
  • Turn on your Roku device and play a video.

Inspect your HDMI Cable for Issues

Check if there are issues with the HDMI cable you use to connect your Roku device to your smart TV. Make sure they attach properly to the port. You can unplug it and plug it back in to its port.
