This error message commonly appears on Roku devices. If you are one of the unlucky ones to encounter this issue, don’t worry! You can try the suggested solutions below so you can get back to your streaming.

Let’s begin with your network connection. If the service is not within reach, it can be a problem with your Internet signal. One thing you can do is to check your network signal. Do a speed test to verify if you have a reliable network connection. If not, you may need to restart your WiFi or mobile data.

Power cycling your devices also works by turning off your Roku device and your router for a few seconds. Then, turning them back on to refresh the processes.

Now, if you are connecting to a VPN server, it can also influence the issue. Turn off your VPN connection or your proxy server and try to launch STARZ again.

You can also double check if your Roku device is connected to a network. To do so, launch the Settings menu on Roku and head over to Network. Select About. From there, you will see if you are connected to a network or not. If not, try setting up a connection.

Performing a System Restart on your Roku player or smart TV might be helpful also. On the Settings menu, navigate to System and select Power. Go to System Restart.

A last resort is to remove the STARZ channel from Roku and just reinstall it afterwards. Select the STARZ app from the home screen and press the star button on your remote. Click the Remove channel option. After doing so, restart your Roku device. Now, you can reinstall STARZ via the Roku Channel Store.
