To make it more interesting, VIZIO will also feature a custom carousel on the SmartCast home screen. It will showcase 13 of the new and trending titles on the HBO Max streaming platform. You can play teasers of the TV series for free and watch featured episodes of popular TV series that you can stream on HBO Max with a rotation of new titles.
How to Download & Install the HBO Max App & Add it to your VIZIO SmartCast TV
To enjoy access to HBO Max on your VIZIO SmartCast TV, create an account and subscribe to any plan on the streaming platform. Then follow this guide to get the app and add it to your VIZIO TV’s home screen:
- From the home screen of your VIZIO SmartCast TV, navigate to the app store.Â
- Look for HBO Max. You can also use the search bar.
- Click the app to open page details.
- Click Add to Home.
- After installing, launch the HBO Max app and sign in to your account.
