But, if you have an LG Smart TV at home, you might be asking, “When will the HBO Max app be available on my smart TV?” or “Do I have to download an APK from somewhere just to sideload it to my LG smart TV?” Well, ask no more as your wish has been granted. You now have all the chance to binge-watch these upcoming shows and more with the new dedicated HBO Max app available on LG webOS.

According to LG’s recent update, the partnership between LG Electronics USA and WarnerMedia gave birth to the new HBO Max app on LG Smart TVs in the US. You can now add, sign up and subscribe to any HBO Max streaming plan and watch all content to your hearts out on your LG Smart TV.

Unfortunately, not all LG smart TV models can download and install the HBO Max app. Only LG webOS Smart TV models 2018 and later are supported to stream HBO Max titles. It will include the compatible LG OLED TVs as well. You will need to update your LG smart TV to webOS 4.0 or later to install the app.
