How to Fix Keep Stuttering or Choppy Video Playback Issues on YouTube

Is your YouTube video stuttering or getting choppy when streaming on a mobile phone, computer, or smart TV? It is a bit annoying when the video you watch gets out of sync, jerky, lags, or flickers from time to time. In some instances, the audio is missing, or the visuals are getting distorted or jumpy.

It happens to a lot of people, but there are reasons behind lagging, skipping, buffering, or choppy YouTube video playback. There can be an issue with the streaming app, your web browser, or the device you use to watch these videos.

Your Internet network connection may also contribute to the problem, whether it’s WiFi or mobile data. Having a corrupt video file when you downloaded the content for offline viewing is also a possible cause of the playback issue. Lastly, the user might have just uploaded the video to YouTube.
