Parental controls allows parents or adults to set restrictions on content that are not ideal for children audience. There are hundreds of titles to watch available on Paramount Plus, and most of these TV shows and movies are adult-oriented.
Parental controls will give you peace of mind knowing that your kids will not be able to access shows that are too much to comprehend by their young minds. Even when you are away, you know that they are watching kid-friendly titles only.
How to Set Up Parental Controls on Paramount Plus Streaming Service
The process to enable parental controls in Paramount Plus is fairly easy. You can put the restrictions and manage them centrally on your Paramount Plus account. They will be implemented on your streaming devices such as your smart TV, streaming players, laptop or desktop computer, and iPhone or Android devices, automatically. On any browser, go to ParamountPlus.com/account. Sign in to your account and navigate to the Parental Controls Section. You will see that the parental control is set to OFF. Paramount Plus disabled the feature by default. You will need to toggle it to ON to enable it. A prompt will ask your Paramount+ password. Enter your password and then click Submit.
Under the toggle control, you will need to create a 4-digit PIN. Note that you will use the PIN to gain access to the restricted title, as well as downloading contents. Always remember your PIN. Set the PIN. Now, set the rating by clicking the blue lock icon beside it. The Blue lock means that locked rating while grey indicated unlocked rating. When you set a locked rating, you will need to enter your PIN to stream it.
After setting your parental controls, hit the Save button.
With parental controls enabled on Paramount+, you don’t need to worry when your kids are watching TV. It will protect them from having access to content that is not meant for them.
