CBS All Access subscribers will soon experience a change in their streaming experience. ViacomCBS, its parent company, announced earlier that it will change CBS All Access to Paramount Plus. The big switch will happen starting March 4, 2021.
With the new Paramount+, users can watch all the shows and movies on their Roku devices. It will be great news to many people as Roku is one of the widely used streaming devices today. This will be a promosing contender against the established streaming service providers like Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Apple TV Plus, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Peacock.
How to Stream Paramount+ on a Roku Device
Watching Paramount Plus on Roku is easy. You don’t have to do a lot of things to change from CBS All Access to Paramount+. All you need to do is to update your CBS All Access app on Roku. On your Roku remote, press the Home button. Select Settings and then click System. Go to System Update. Click Check Now and it will scan for available updates, including the Paramount Plus update.
Paramount Plus Pricing and Plans
ViacomCBS has not confirmed if there will be a price increase with the Paramount Plus coming soon. But, there have not been any changes with the CBS All Access prices as of today. The basic plan is $5.99 per month, while the ad-free experience costs $9.99 monthly. Still, there is a probability that Paramount+ will cost higher than CBS All Access after the rebranding.
Can you Sign in to Paramount Plus Using your Cable Account?
Some users have been asking if they can sign up for free on Paramount Plus with their existing cable subscription. The answer is Yes. Users can sign in to Paramount Plus with their Paramount Network cable account. Unfortunately, it will not give you full access to all content. You cannot stream on-demand titles, ViacomCBS content, Paramount movies, and new exclusives.
