If you want a media library where you can store all your videos, music, and photos, Plex is a reliable streaming platform to consider. It is a one-place local media server that lets you stream all your content on any supported device.
All you have to do is add your media content on the Plex Media Server on your Windows 10/11 PC or Mac computer and install the Plex app on your other devices or streaming media player. Whenever you want to watch your TV shows, movies, or podcasts, you can do so in just a few clicks via the Plex app. You can install the Plex app on your tablet, smartphone, computer, smart TV, or gaming consoles.
However, some users complain about seeing a playback error message when they try to open their media content on the Plex app on an Android phone, Android TV, Samsung smart TV, and other devices. They encounter the error message,
“An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please try restarting both the Plex Media Server and this app.” or
