  • Navigate to the Settings menu on your Amazon TV by clicking the Gear icon.
  • Select Applications.
  • Go to the App Store.
  • Look for Automatic Updates and click it.
  • Select On.

If you enabled the automatic updates but want to install a new version immediately, you can also update the apps manually.

How to Manually Update Apps on Amazon Firestick Device

  • Go to the home screen of your Fire TV.
  • Click the Apps button or the three-squared icon.
  • Highlight the app you want to update.
  • On your remote, press the three-lined button.
  • Go to the right side and select More info.
  • Click the Update button.
